Overview

Gilmore’s commitment as a world-class flow control solutions designer and manufacturer begins with a focus to deliver operational excellence that meet or exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers and other interested parties.  Building on its energy heritage and experience, Gilmore continues to develop leading-edge adaptable and modular technologies that go beyond standard applications for the toughest environments and across all markets where critical service requirements make them essential.

Engineering

Gilmore’s engineering team is ready to meet the challenges of today’s energy and industrial needs, whether required to create a new flow control solution or modify and existing product design to meet a customer’s specifications.

Gilmore products are subjected to the most rigorous qualification testing to assimilate real world operating conditions. This includes contaminated fluid testing; high flow and high shock endurance cycle testing that exceed industry requirements. The result is a very resilient product that is dependable and reliable.

Applications Engineering

Severe and critical service: Our suite of High-Pressure High-Temperature valves (HPHT) are used in severe service downhole applications. Gilmore shear seal technologies make compact, resilient, debris tolerant valves that withstand the harshest environments.

Safety systems: Our flow control solutions are designed to provide operational logic and redundancy to pressure control systems. They are often used in latching systems, disconnect systems, dead-man auto-shear control, redundancy, and automated control applications.

High flow: Large volume functions, with timing requirements, demand high flow capabilities. Gilmore valves are capable of handling flows up to 250 gpm, regardless of fluid cleanliness.

High shock: With high fluid velocities and water transient shocks, pressure spikes can be severe and result in unplanned downtime. Gilmore valves have internal features designed and tested to mitigate the effects of water-hammer.

Gilmore can apply any combination of these technologies in order to design industry leading essential control valves that exceed customer expectations. For more information about the applications and bespoke solutions that our engineering team can provide please contact us at INFO@www.gilmore.com

New Product Development

Gilmore recognizes the need to be forward thinking, driving through Research and Development to take leaps in technology to bring new and differentiating technologies to the marketplace.  Advanced solutions for your most challenging applications. Often these technologies are developed for specific customer requirements that are outside of the ‘normal’.

We encourage you to engage us in the conceptual or pre-FEED stage of your projects. If we do not have the technology today, we will develop it in partnership and provide it in the form of products that solve problems today and into the future.

Gilmore engineering has developed a new generation of products to their wide portfolio of field-proven products that exceed offshore industry requirements and meet the demand for 5-year service life.  For more information on these products contact us at INFO@www.gilmore.com

Manufacturing

Gilmore’s state of the art manufacturing facility has been machining, assembling, testing and delivering precision products to the energy and industrial markets for over half a century.

Machining centers, include CNC lathes from micro to 18″, mills up to 30″ x 60″ and multi-axis CNCs that can accommodate a variety of metals including stainless steel and exotic alloys.  From the delivery of raw bar stock to the completion of the last machining operation, each Gilmore valve is crafted with precision and complete traceability providing quality assurance to our customers.  For more information on Gilmore’s manufacturing capabilities please download the Gilmore Manufacturing Capabilities Brochure.

Quick response cell

Our state of the art quick response cell is dedicated to on-demand manufacturing of valve components needed to satisfy rig down and emergency repair needs. Utilizing universal machining technology, this manufacturing cell provides turning, milling, and threading within six axis of motion.
