Training
Overview
Oil and gas companies are continuously challenged to maximise the return on their technology investments, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational performance. In order to do this, they must build and maintain a competent and highly skilled workforce.
At Proserv, we can offer bespoke training packages to deliver the right knowledge and skills required to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity in the workplace.
Surface production equipment
Proserv offers surface production equipment training focusing on wellhead control panels and hydraulic emergency shutdown systems. Our aim is to enhance technical awareness associated with application and to optimise engineering.
Chemical injection systems
We provide chemical injection systems training including:
- A basic understanding of the key system components
- The various design aspects of the equipment involved
- How to operate and monitor the performance of chemical injection packages.
Oil & gas sampling
Our oil and gas sampling training provides an increased understanding of using sampling during the exploration and production phase, and the associated benefits. Clients will gain an understanding of sampling cylinder selection criteria for various applications and operations, as well as the handling and features of downhole samplers and manual / automatic sampling systems.
Autoclave engineering
We offer cone and thread connection and safety training to enhance customers’ knowledge on one of the most reliable seal joining techniques for valves, fittings and tubing over 1000 bars (15000 psi).
Lean methodology
An introductory training course that enables delegates to understand the benefits of lean methodology implementation for their organisation. This course details the key lean principles, the various tools and techniques and the best methods used to approach implementation.
Hazard awareness – handling high pressure
A basic training course on hazard awareness and risk assessment whilst conducting pressure test related activities. It focuses on managing the risks whilst providing participants with an understanding of the nature and consequences of damage and leakage during high pressure testing. Participants will also learn about hazard identification and risk assessment methodology.
