Proserv Controls and partners are developing a new and unique system methodology for subsea cable monitoring and fault detection that will apply to export and inter-array cables within offshore wind farms. The methodology involves a holistic and proactive approach that can considerably reduce the OPEX of operating, maintaining and managing subsea cable assets.
Proserv Controls understands the specific industry challenges that are related to monitoring cables, cable faults and the cost of failure on cable assets. This knowledge, complemented by our offering of leading controls technology and integrated solutions, best places Proserv Controls to provide this innovative and unique approach to monitoring cables.
Proserv Controls is currently seeking industry validation and sponsorship of this concept through development of the technology. The sponsor would act as the ‘voice of the customer’, where an industry end user of the system sponsors and supports the development throughout the project life to assist in the successful design and implementation of the system. Proserv Controls is interested to hear from offshore wind operators and OFTO that would be interested to be a part of the development of this game changing and innovative technology development.
